Refill Cambridge

Cambridge is a city located north of London. Full of history, it is home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world. With a city of dedicated students, the preservation of the environment is at the forefront of local priorities.

Refill Cambridge – rapid growth

Refill Cambridge is getting started in 2018, and adding more Refill Stations rapidly. The City Council are supporting this as part of their Sustainable Food Policy, and the Business Improvement District as well. We hope to get some public water fountains added, but for now we’re getting a good reception from businesses around the city who mostly ‘get’ the issues involved.

If you’re looking to start a Refill Scheme, we’ve got a guide to help you get started.

Protecting our waters

Cambridge has historic links with the sea, our coat of arms contains several boats, bridges, seahorses and no sign of a plastic bottle. As one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations, we hope that we can spread the Refill message beyond these shores.

This Refill Scheme is currently inactive. We would like to welcome anyone within the area who has an interest in restarting the scheme to contact us with any queries at [email protected]. We would love to hear from you so together we can help your community continue to power the Refill Revolution!

Getting involved is easy!

If you’ve got a great idea about getting involved in your local scheme, or you want to set up your own Refill Scheme, we’d love to have you on board.
