Refill Malton
The Roman town of Malton is a beautiful market town in rural North Yorkshire. It is home to a wide range of fabulous eateries and artisan food and drink outlets. Malton hosts the hugely successful Malton Food Festival every May attracting thousands of visitors from far and wide and new businesses are constantly attracted to the town which is styled The Food Capital of North Yorkshire.
A forward-thinking town
Reducing plastic waste is high on every forward-thinking town’s agenda and Malton is no different. Many people do not want to keep buying disposable water bottles, but would rather refill their existing one. Having the confidence to ask an outlet to fill your bottle will be hugely enhanced when customers and passers-by see the Refill sticker or poster.

Libby Pearson is a keen environmentalist on a personal level and is working with the Malton & Norton Environmental group and Ryedale District Council to partner her to promote the Refill Malton Scheme.
