Darlington is a large historic market town in County Durham, in North East England which dates back to 1183 and is situated 37 miles south of Newcastle.  Darlington is famous for its railway heritage and is the home of the world’s first steam locomotive powered, permanent passenger railway and the town has long been a centre for engineering, particularly bridge building. 

Lancing is England’s largest village set betwixt the seaside and the Downs. Until quite recently fishing was carried out by fishermen of different generations from the same few families. In the more distant past, Lancing was known for smuggling activities.

Lingwood is a medium sized Broadland village, situated between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. The Village Hall is the hub of the community with a cafe run by volunteers and a venue for regular groups.

Ross on Wye is where tourism was ‘born’ by the local philanthropist John Kyrle in the late 17th century. Trips along the wye were offered to artists and poets who were inspired by the area of natural beauty.

Wirral is a beautiful place to live work and play, with 25 miles of coastline including Sites of Special Scientific Interest, such as the Dee Estuary Wirral is connected to the sea on three sides.

Home to the final resting place of Althelsan, first King of England, a 12th century Abbey, flying monks and the oldest purpose-built hotel in England, just to name just a few, Malmesbury is a town steeped in History, at the heart of the English countryside.

Chipping Norton is a beautiful market town on the edge of the Cotswolds. The highest town in Oxfordshire, it is situated on a hillside that was once the site of a Norman castle.
